On a roll…

Yes, this is my second post for today. I need to make up for lost time! Over at Gingersnap Creations, they’re running a resolutions challenge. With the exception this year of resolving to start my Christmas cards next month, I typically don’t make New Year’s resolutions—I tend to make resolutions around the time of my birthday in September. This past September, I made the resolution to nurture my creativity more. Taking a drawing class, starting this blog, and participating in challenges like GC36 are some of the things I’ve done towards that goal. I’m also really excited that I only have one more challenge to do to be all caught up on the Gingersnap challenges for the month!! I hope to get to that one tomorrow. So—here’s my card:

DSCN1981It’s kind of a stretch because it’s black and white, not a color scheme I usually use. I think this is only the second black and white card I’ve ever done. The stamps are from Paper Artsy. I was so excited before Christmas when I went into my local stamp store (Stamp Your Art Out, the best stamp store on the planet!) and found that they had started carrying some Paper Artsy stamps. I love them, but have been hesitant to buy from overseas. So, while I was buying some Christmas presents, I had to get this for me! (Is anyone seeing a trend here??? LOL) Anyway, I hope you like it!

Take care—hope to post more tomorrow!
